Diamond cut

Machined back on the lathe for that factory face.

£140

per wheel · £520 for four

  • Cut on our own CNC lathe
  • Sealed against white worm
  • Limited by how much metal is left
  • We check that before quoting
Diamond cut

Prices are for wheels up to 20 inch. Split rims, heavily buckled wheels and anything needing welding are quoted after we have seen a photo — and we will tell you when a wheel is not worth saving.

What goes wrong

Four places a wheel fails

Almost every wheel we see has damage in one of these four places. Which one it is decides the repair, the price and whether the wheel is worth saving at all.

The rim edge

Kerb scuffs, nine times out of ten. Filled, shaped and refinished, often without the wheel leaving the car.

The face & spokes

Lacquer peel and corrosion blooming out from stone chips. Needs stripping back, not painting over.

Exploded view of an alloy wheel with its tyre, centre cap and wheel nuts

The machined face

White worm under the lacquer on a diamond-cut wheel. Re-cut on the lathe, then sealed properly.

The barrel

Buckles and cracks from potholes. Straightened on a jig where we can, refused where we cannot.

What we do

Five things we do to alloys

Almost every wheel that comes to us is one of these. If yours is something else, send a photo and we will tell you straight.

What will your wheels cost?

Four answers and you will have a price per wheel, a price for the set, and whether we collect from you. The set is always cheaper than four singles, because it is one job.

Full refurbishment on four 16in to 18in wheels, kerb scuffs.

Collection

Covered

Free collection and delivery, with loan wheels if you need the car.

Prices are per wheel for that size and finish. Anything we find when the tyre comes off is quoted before it is done, and a wheel that is not safe to repair is refused rather than patched up.

How it runs

Four stages, forty-eight hours

That is a set of four on a standard refurbishment. Diamond cutting adds a day because the lacquer has to cure before it goes near the lathe.

The difference

Same wheel, same week

Every picture is one of ours, taken in the unit on a phone. Nothing here is a stock image of somebody else’s wheels.

Judged on the fourth wheel

Anyone can make one wheel look good in a photograph. The test is whether all four match in daylight.
