A scuffed rim edge does not need the wheel taken off the car, the tyre taken off the wheel, or two days of your time. It needs filling, shaping and refinishing where the car already is.

Kerb repair is a localised repair to the rim edge. Done properly it is invisible and it lasts. It is not a fix for anything happening elsewhere on the wheel.
The damaged area is cleaned back, filled, shaped to the original profile and refinished in a colour matched to the rest of the rim. On a painted or powder-coated wheel that is usually indistinguishable afterwards.
On a diamond-cut wheel it is harder, because the machined grain cannot be reproduced by hand. We will tell you honestly whether a kerb repair will satisfy you or whether the face needs re-cutting instead.
What it will not do is stop corrosion elsewhere. If the photograph shows lacquer lifting or bubbling away from the damaged area, the wheel needs stripping and we will say so rather than take the cheaper booking.
Everything below is in the quoted figure. Where a price elsewhere is lower, these are usually the lines missing from it.
Home, work or wherever the car is parked, with no need to be there once we start.
To the rim rather than to a chart, so the repair disappears into it.
Usually less. The car stays on its wheels the whole time.
Not just filled and coloured. The repair gets the same protection as the rest.
If it needs a full refurb instead, you will hear that first.
On the repair, against lifting and colour failure.
These are the standard rates. The quote you get back against a photograph is the actual figure, and it does not move after booking.
Diamond-cut wheels are different. A hand repair to a machined face rarely matches, so we quote those as a re-cut instead and tell you the difference before you book.
A picture of the scuffed rim and the wheel size. Price back the same working day.
At your address, in a window that suits. You do not need to be there once we arrive.
Damage cleaned back, filled and shaped to the original rim profile.
Mixed against your rim rather than a chart, then applied.
The repair gets the same protection as the rest of the wheel.
Touch-dry before we leave, fully hard within a few hours.
On a painted or powder-coated wheel, almost never. On a diamond-cut face, usually yes, which is why we quote those as a re-cut instead.
No. The wheel stays on the car. You can drive it a few hours later, and we will tell you exactly when.
Not well. Moisture in the finish causes problems that appear weeks later. If the forecast is bad we will move you rather than risk it.
Usually, yes. Four tidy rims make a car look looked-after, and it costs a fraction of what a dealer will knock off for them.
Mobile kerb repair runs across the whole patch. Where you are decides the day, not the price.
