Kerb repair
Scuffed rim edges filled, shaped and refinished on your driveway. From £65 a wheel.
MoreAlmost every wheel that reaches us needs one of six things. Which one depends on how deep the damage goes and what the finish was to begin with, and a photograph usually answers both.

You do not need to know the name of the repair. What matters is how far into the metal the damage goes, and that is visible in a photograph.
Surface scuffing that has not gone past the coating is kerb repair — filled, shaped and refinished, often without the wheel leaving the car. It is the cheapest thing we do and the most common.
Anything where the finish is lifting, bubbling or blooming needs the whole wheel stripped, because coating over corrosion just delays it. That is a full refurbishment, and it is why it costs what it costs.
A machined face with a bright, turned finish is a different job again: it has to go on the lathe rather than be painted, and there is a limit to how many times that can be done. We measure it before quoting.
If none of them quite matches what yours looks like, send a photo. Half our quotes start as somebody saying they are not sure what they are looking at.

Straightened on a hydraulic jig, or welded where the alloy allows. Sometimes neither.
MoreSpraying is the last ten per cent. If the old finish and the corrosion under it are still there, the new coat lifts within a year or two.
It is machined metal under clear lacquer, not paint. It cannot be matched with a spray gun, and it can only be re-cut a limited number of times.
People send the worst wheel and ask for two. If the other pair are close behind, the set price per wheel is better and the match is guaranteed.
Collection and delivery are included across the whole patch. Your postcode decides which day we come, not what you pay.
Send a photograph of the worst wheel, taken in daylight, straight on to the rim. We will tell you which job it is and what it costs, usually within a couple of hours.
That costs nothing and there is no follow-up if you decide not to go ahead.
Kerb repair, yes — that is the point of it. Everything else needs the wheel off the car and the tyre off the wheel, which means an oven, a lathe or a jig, none of which fit in a van.
For those, collection and delivery are included and loan wheels keep the car on the road.
For what it is, yes. It is a localised repair to a rim edge and it lasts well. What it is not is a fix for corrosion elsewhere on the wheel, and we will say so if that is what your photograph shows.
We remove and refit them as part of refurbishment, with new valves and balancing. We do not sell tyres. If yours are marginal we will tell you before taking them off, because old tyres do not always survive being refitted.
Every service on this page runs across the whole patch at the same price. The only thing your postcode changes is which collection day suits.
