Refurbishment
Nineteens, Copnor
Corrosion round every bolt hole. Stripped, cut back and powder coated in factory silver.
Every photograph on this page is one of ours. Nothing is bought in from a stock library, which is why some of them have a pallet in the background and the light is whatever the roller shutter let in.
Most people have never seen what a kerbed rim looks like stripped back, which is why “it can be saved” sounds optimistic until you see one.

Two photographs of the same wheel, taken two days apart on the same phone in the same corner of the unit.

Refurbishment
Corrosion round every bolt hole. Stripped, cut back and powder coated in factory silver.

Diamond cut
Lacquer lifting from the rim edge inward. Re-cut on the lathe and sealed.

Kerb repair
Done on a permit street between school runs. Car never moved.

Colour change
Sample panel first, because satin black covers less than people expect.

Refurbishment
Ten years of salt. One wheel needed straightening before it could be coated.

Diamond cut
Measured at the limit. Cut once more and told the owner it was the final one.

Kerb repair
Four rims tidied the week before handback. Cheaper than the leasing company’s charge.

Colour change
Matched to a sample the owner brought in rather than a code.

Refurbishment
Three-piece, so apart, coated and rebuilt with new bolts and seals.
A gallery of perfectly lit studio wheels proves nothing except that somebody has a stock library subscription.
On a phone, in the unit, by whoever had clean-ish hands. No lighting rig, no staging, no borrowed wheels.
An after shot on its own is a photograph of a wheel. The pair is the only thing that tells you what was actually done.
Cropped or blurred before anything is published, every time, whether or not the car is identifiable otherwise.
Even with the plate gone. Nobody has ever said no unkindly, and one or two have said no, which is why we ask.
Anyone can make one wheel look right under a work lamp. The test is all four on the car on a bright morning.
Most of the jobs above were collected within twenty minutes of the unit. Collection and delivery are included across the whole patch, so where you are changes the day rather than the price.
